Description

Service a route for collection and deliveries including loading, unloading, and sorting recycling and organics. Responsible for accepting and properly handling incoming waste, recycling, and reuse at the Hubbard County transfer stations, demolition landfill areas, household hazardous waste areas, and reuse center. Maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds of the facilities. Follow state and federal guidelines for the facilities. Operate light and heavy duty equipment needed to run facility.

Essential Functions:

    * Reads all measurement tools and blue prints.
    * Operates machines in the tool room.
    * Applies various toolroom equipment setups to accomplish basic machining methods.
    * Pulls dies apart, disassembles, and reassembles as needed.
    * Analyzes tools that are affecting the efficient function of
production.
    * Improvises, as needed, in repairing tooling in immediate production
situations.  Also follows through to ensure the tool is fully repaired
for long-term use after the immediate situation is resolved.
    * Communicates to other shift lead personnel die issues that were
handled during the support shift.
    * Assists with new builds and miscellaneous tooling when production
allows the opportunity. Communicate with appropriate shift lead
personnel to exchange information concerning the onset, progress, or
completion of tooling work.
    * Operates grinders to sharpen die sections and punches. Squares up blocks and puts shears on-die components.
    * Grinds down punch blanks to replace broken punches. Produces or
reproduces applicable various shapes and configurations.
    * Uses the welder when necessary.
    * Communicates with any production personnel to accomplish job
functions.
    * safely performs all duties, complying with safety rules and
regulations.
    * Keeps work area safe and clean

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Graduation from high
school or equivalent.

Experience and Skills Required: recent related mechanical and shop
experience and two years of previous tooling experience which includes
the following skills and abilities:

    * Strong working knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods, and practices used in production tooling operations.
    * Working knowledge of production process, and metal fabrication
machines, which aid in the overall understanding of die maintenance.
    * Strong knowledge of related safety requirements including proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions.
    * Ability to understand, follow and issue routine oral and written
instructions.
    * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with others.
    * The qualifications listed above are guidelines.

Stamping Production Operator

Essential Functions:

1. Reads and understands simple blue prints and sketches.

2. Manufactures parts to blue prints and/or sketches using Operator
Inspection Instructions

3. Inspects parts produced as instructed by Operator Inspection
Instructions,teacher, set-up person, lead-person or supervisor using
tools such as tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.

4.Arranges  parts, cleans machines or does other duties as assigned.

5.Operates various types and sizes of stamping presses in a safe and
efficient manner or some machines including milling machines, CNC
machines, spot welders,  and others as instructed

8. Performs those duties as specified on the Daily Maintenance/Safety
Checklist for equipment being operated.

9. Maintains a clean and safe work area.

Requirements Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Graduation
from high school or 18 years of age. Pass math measurement/blue print
test with 85% or better.

Experience and Skills Required: Recent mechanical and shop experience
that includes the following skills and abilities would be beneficial.

1. Some knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods and practices
used in the production process.

2. Some knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use
of safety equipment and proper safety precautions.

3. Ability to understand and follow routine oral and written
instructions.

4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with others.

5. Must have average math skills and mechanical ability.
