At around 9:10pm on April 6, 2017 the Becker County Sheriff's Office received a call from a man stating he was located in White Earth and needed assistance. Later in the night another call was reported stating there was a strange male on their dock who was stating he was shot. The man was identified as Brandon Wichern form Detroit Lakes and was transported by the White Earth Ambulance to Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes. The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
