Tom Burch from the Cass County Sheriffs Department reports that on Friday, January 13th a trailer home fire in Cass County took place in Motley. The fire was fully a blaze and responders on the scene took efforts to extinguish the the trailer home. The body of Alan Dumpprope of Motley was located in the trailer and the cause of death is believed to be smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation with help from the State Fire Marshalls Office.

Motley Fire & Rescue, Staples Fire & Rescue, Staples Ambulance, and the State Fire Marshalls assisted on the scene.
