Early this week the Wadena Police Department and the Wadena Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire. The incident occurred Tuesday, April 17 at 517 South Jefferson Street in the city of Wadena. When police and firefighters arrived to the scene, they found a 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck engulfed in flames. Responding firefighters were able to extinguish the fire. There were no injuries or other property damages reported, but the vehicle is said to be a total loss. Officers and fire personnel were unable to determine the cause of the fire promptly. The incident remains under investigation.
