Three individuals arrested in Wadena for fighting

Three individuals were arrested Tuesday night in Wadena after officers received a report of a fight. Upon arrival, police officers found Dylan David Lapointe of Wadena and two others screaming at one another in the alley behind the Commercial Apartments. The two other individuals were identified as Faustine Effie Draper and Jack Kramer Allen. Witnesses in the apartment complex said the three people had been fighting before the officers arrived. It was also reported that Draper and Allen had hit each other. Lapointe was Tased by one of the officers after he refused to surrender and was then handcuffed. Draper later became aggressive with officers and was placed in a hobble restraint system. Tests showed all three people were intoxicated. Lapointe was charged on four counts of violence including domestic assault, obstructing the legal process, fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct. The Wadena County attorney will review the charges. Lapointe was still in custody in the Wadena County jail Wednesday. Draper and Allen were charged with disorderly conduct and were released.
