In Becker County, the Sheriff's Office responded to a call involving a propane leak from an above ground propane tank. It was discovered that an empty Suburban had rolled down a hill and damaged the propane tank. Upon arrival from the Detroit Lakes Fire Department, the contents from the propane tank ignited causing an explosion. Most of the damage was caused to the summer home near the tank and was unoccupied during the explosion. The situation is currently under investigation and questions about the incident can be answered by the Detroit Lakes Fire Department.
